      Introduction

      TagFP Nanoselector Agarose has been specifically designed to bind TagRFP/ TagBFP. TagFP Nanoselector Agarose is based on small high-affinity recombinant alpaca antibody fragments covalently coupled to the surface of Agarose beads.

      TagRFP is derived from the Entacmaea quadricolor fluorescent protein TurboRFP (a random mutant of eqFP578), with mutations of R162E, Q166D, S180N, F198V, F200Y at the hydrophilic interface. TagBFP was derived from TagRFP with the some mutations. TagRFP/ TagBFP has a high fluorescent quantum yield (Φfluo 0.48) and is widely used for fluorescent imaging. For biochemical analysis including mass spectrometry and enzymeactivity measurements, these TagRFP/TagBFP-fusion proteins and their interacting factors need to be isolated fast and efficiently by immunoprecipitation using special selector agarose.

      TagFP Nanoselector Agarose has been specifically designed to bind TagRFP/ TagBFP. Due to the single-chain nature of sdAbs and their stable and covalent attachment, no leakage of light and heavy chains is observed during elution with SDS sample buffer. TagFP Nanoselector Agarose thus features high affinity and superior capacity for TagFP fusion proteins while showing negligible non-specific background. TagFP Nanoselector Agarose is compatible not only with physiological buffers but also with high stringency buffers which provides great freedom to adjust the binding and washing conditions to the experimental needs.

      Highly selective for TagRFP/ TagBFP. Does not cross-react with common GFP or dsRed derivatives.

      Instead of elution, we recommend on-bead assays like on-bead digestion for MS analysis.

      Shipped at ambient temperature. Upon receipt store at +4°C. Stable for 1 year. Do not freeze.
